What is Formula Student Spain?
Formula Student Spain is the Spanish edition of the global Formula Student competition, where university teams from across the world design, build, and race their own formula-style single-seaters. Hosted at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the event gathers hundreds of students working at the intersection of engineering, performance, and teamwork.
It's more than just a competition — it's a full experience of technical challenges, project management, and human growth.
The mission of this competition is clear: to unlock the full potential of university students from around the world by challenging them to design, validate, manufacture, and race a formula-style car entirely built by themselves, following a strict set of international regulations.
This involves facing a wide range of challenges — from spending countless hours solving complex technical problems worthy of the highest levels of motorsport, to funding an ambitious project by pitching their work to industry-leading companies.
